| Call for student contributions: East Asia in Everyday Life How does East Asia appear in your daily life, studies, community, or future career? Choose one object, platform, cultural practice, personal experience, historical question, or community connection involving China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, or East Asian communities in the United States. In a commentary of 400–700 words—or a short multimedia presentation—explain what your example reveals about culture, history, technology, identity, power, migration, or global interdependence. There are two deadlines for submissions a year, Nov. 15, and May 15. Selected contributors will be featured on the IUN East Asian Studies Gateway blog in the following December and June. The upcoming deadline is Nov. 15, 2026. Submissions should be emailed to Diana Chen Lin at dchenlin@iu.edu. |
